                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 112
                   HARTMAN STREET, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF
                   HARTMAN STREET NORTHWEST OF FOREST AVENUE, FROM
                   R-3 RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO R-4 SPECIAL ZONE,
                   SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 112 Hartman Street,
                being on the southwest line of Hartman Street
                northwest of Forest Avenue.  Part of lot 3, block
                1, Frazier's Addition to Hill City, as shown by
                plat of record in plat book 4, page 16, ROHC; being
                the property described in deed book 2686, page 741,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 135E-C-19.
               
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to R-4 Special Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
              1.   Applicant shall provide for sufficient off-street
                   parking on the lot or an adjacent lot.
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
